The Mission

Enable stakeholders to make decisions.

We had a project that went in circles due to multiple and competing stakeholder needs. I needed to find a way to inform, align and guide them so that they can make decisions and push the work forward.

Lisa’s Approach

  • Experimented different ways to help stakeholders make decisions, including workshopping processes with individual teams, providing recommendations to leadership and creating meeting decks.

  • Collaborated with the PMO Director and Product Manager to synthesize learnings, conversations and facts to identify key decision points that needed to be made.

  • Designed a presentation deck to keep the stakeholders focused on one topic at a time, clearly stating the question we were trying to answer, the considerations and implications of the options and having a space to type in the decisions that were made and any action items that needed to be completed.

Lisa’s Impact

  • The multi-month circling around decisions came to an end with aligned stakeholders and clear next steps.

  • The presentation deck became a reusable meeting template.
