My proud impacts
Assistant Director
New England Conservatory Preparatory School

Expanding music education programs
In addition to my responsibilities to oversee and expand their piano, strings, music theory, composition and early childhood programs at the New England Conservatory Preparatory School, I was given opportunities to launch new summer programs, including a 5-day Suzuki camp for 5-10 year olds called SuzukiFest and a 2-week international orchestra camp for high schoolers called Summer Orchestra Institute (SOI).
In close collaboration with the Music Directors, I led the development of these programs from planning to execution. I managed the timeline and budget to ensure the application process, marketing plans, faculty contracting and partnership establishment stayed on track.
For SOI’s inaugural year, I recruited 55% over the intended goal (accepted 83 students from 18 states and 5 countries) and has been a thriving program since its establishment in 2019.

Redesigning a core business process
Within my first three month at IDEO, I redesigned a business critical process that staffed the 200+ North American designers to 30-50 internal and client projects per week. Through stakeholder discoveries and constant design feedback, what initially required 3 different systems were centralized and automated into a single workflow using Airtable.
I also designed the user interfaces to scale this system across 8 teams in the NA business unit to access and utilize the resourcing data so that Executive Leadership, Design Directors and Business Development Representatives had a clear visibility into the business’s resourcing and talent availability to make data driven decisions and strategies.
The increased transparency and efficiency of this process reduced the amount of manual communications and weekly meetings, enabling teams to focus on doing the work that mattered the most.
Improving cross functional collaborations
Operations Project Manager
The Lactation Network
Remote
As the inaugural Project Manager assigned to the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team at The Lactation Network (TLN), it was one of my responsibilities to proactively assess and identify opportunities to establish net new and improve existing SOPs for both internal workflows and cross functional collaboration.
One of these projects’ objective was to streamline the collection of medical record addendums from the Lactation Consultants so that TLN can meet the timely filing deadline to respond to the requests by the health care insurances and collect claim reimbursements.
By redesigning the workflow based on team feedback and enabling the use of Asana between the RCM and Product & Tech team, the operational efficiency was improved by 65%. A process that once took one month to complete shifted to a weekly workflow.
